Terms of Service

Last updated: October 23, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Credit Hack AI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

The Service is an AI-assisted credit dispute letter generation tool. You upload your own credit reports, we parse them, and we generate draft dispute letters that you review, print, sign, and mail yourself. We do not contact credit bureaus, furnishers, or collectors on your behalf, and we do not act as a credit counselor.

3. CROA notice and your rights

Under the U.S. Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) and comparable state laws, you have specific rights, including:

  • The right to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information in your credit report directly with each consumer reporting agency and with each furnisher, at no cost to you.
  • The right to cancel any written contract with a credit repair organization, without penalty, within three business days of signing it.
  • The right to sue a credit repair organization that violates the CROA.

We make no guarantees about credit score changes or the outcome of any dispute. Credit reporting agencies, furnishers, and courts — not this Service — decide whether information is verified, deleted, or updated. See our internal CROA compliance notes for operators.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • Impersonate another person, use false identity information, or upload credit reports that do not belong to you without express written authorization.
  • Use generated letters to make statements you know to be false or misleading to a credit reporting agency, furnisher, or any other party.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or any underlying system.
  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any individual or organization.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate against the Service outside of documented APIs.

We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of this section.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a limited license to process your uploads solely to provide the Service to you (parse reports, generate letters, store results, back them up, surface them back to you).

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

  • We are not a law firm. Nothing in the Service is legal advice. If you need legal advice, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
  • We are not affiliated with any credit bureau, furnisher, or government agency. References to Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, the CFPB, or any state Attorney General are purely for addressing purposes.
  • Letter templates are provided as drafts. You are responsible for reviewing every letter before you sign and mail it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator's aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the total fees you have paid to the operator in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This deployment currently charges no fees, so that limit is $0. In no event will the operator be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify the operator against claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [state TBD — operator must fill in]. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration [arbitration clause placeholder — operator must fill in jurisdiction, arbitrator, and opt-out terms before enforcing].

10. Termination

Either party may terminate your account at any time. You may delete your account from the account settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law).

11. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
